LEBANON TWP. -- Violet D. Sutton, age 91, of Lebanon Township passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
Mrs. Sutton was born June 25, 1920, in Annandale to Howard Bolmer and Wilhelmina (Sprauer) Bolmer.
Mrs. Sutton lived in High Bridge for many years before moving to Lebanon Township. She worked for the Commercial Dress Factory in High Bridge for over 37 years. She loved animals and gardening.
Surviving her are her loving daughter, Nancy Freiss and her husband William of Glen Gardner; her dear grandchildren, Mark Wynings of Lebanon Township, Karen Huizing and her husband Bob, of Buxton, N.C., Lauren Voos and her husband Paul of Baltimore, Jillian Matthews and her husband Norman of Bangor, Pa.; her great-grandchildren, Norman IV, Logan, Amelia, Halle, Dina, Ella, Olivia, and Zachary; her brother, Howard Bolmer and wife Fran of Annandale; and her twin sister, Hyacinth Eckhardt of Phillipsburg. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Miss Kitty.
She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin Sutton.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 17, from 10-11 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31 in Clinton Township. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery on Cokesbury Road in Clinton Township.
