Obituary
Blanche Sutton, 70, of 111 Valley View Ave., Hackettstown, died Monday in the Barnhill Nursing Home, Newton, N.J., after a long illness.
She had been employed as an assembly line worker by the Dover Handbag Co., Netcong, N.J.
Born July 18, 1912, in Stillwater, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Fannie Cassedy Marvin. She lived in the Hackettstown area most of life.
Mrs. Sutton was a member of First Presbyterian Church; Independence Chapter 102, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Blue Ridge American Legion Post 164 Auxiliary, all of Hackettstown, the Hackettstown Fire Department Auxiliary; Star of the East, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Belvidere, Amaranth 39, Wayne, N.J.; and the Cedarettes, Warren County Forest.
Her husband, Charles Sutton, died in 1968.
Surviving are a brother, Warren Marvin and two sisters, Flora and Elizabeth Marin, all of Newton, N.J., and a niece, Mrs. Ella Blackford, with whom she formerly lived in Lafayette, N.J.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown. Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows. Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Buried in Pequest Union Cemetery.
