Fatal Accident
On Friday morning last, Mr. David Anderson, whose parents reside at Mt. Airy, meet with a violent death by shooting. As near as we have been able to gather the facts of the case, it appears that Mr. A. had seen a rabbit near his father's house and had went into the house for the gun, remarking to his father that he would go out and shoot the rabbit. After a short absence the report of the gun was heard but David not returning in a reasonable time, his father went out to ascertain his whereabouts, when to his horror he saw the form of his son, cold in death, he having been shot through the head. Whether the gun was discharged by accident or desing is not positively known, but from some indications it is fair to presume that the discharge was accidental.
