    At Frenchtown, NJ, on Saturday morning, December 27th, Mrs. Margaret A., wife of Austin Hoffamn, and daughter of Isaac and Catharine Rockafellow, in the 23d year of her age. She has left behind an affectionate husband, with whom she lived not quite a year... Her death was peculiarly distressing, caused by the explosion of burning fluid, while alone for a few moments in the evening...

    At Quakertown, Hunterdon County, on Thursday evening, March 12th, Mrs. Rhoda Snyder, wife of William Snyder, Esq., aged 60 years.      Mrs. S. was a faithful and affectionate wife, a kind and tender mother, and her loss will not only be deeply mourned by a bereaved husband and family, but by all who knew her.  Truly we may say of Mrs. Snyder, "she let her light so shine that others seeing her good works might benefit thereby."  Mrs. Snyder was a sincere friend to the poor, always taking pleasure, if in her power, to relieve the wants of the needy.  This class has lost a valuable friend and neighbor.  She had no enemies.  We earnestly sympathize with a sorrow stricken husband and family, in their irreparable loss.

    At Spring Garden, in this County, September 28th, by the same, at the residence of the brides father, Mr. Jonathan P. Queen, to Miss Rebecca, daughter of William Hunt.

    Near Frenchtown, October 24th, by the same, at the residence of Mr. Lewis Apgar, Mr. Wm. Reading Slack, of Rosemont, to Miss Mary Catharine, daughter of Adam Leonard.

    At Pattenburgh, on the 3rd inst., by the same, at the residence of the Hon. Wm. Egbert, Mr. Lambert Humphrey, to Miss Anna, youngest daughter of the late John Van Syckel.

    At her residence, near Croton, on the 26th of November, Mrs. Margaret King, aged 76 years.

    At Little York, in this County, october 23rd, after a lingering illness, which she bore with christian resignation and a hope.., Mrs. Lydia Eckel, widow of the late Henry Eckel, aged 65 years and 29 days.
